Senior Sales Manager (Chemicals / Polymers ), Metro Manila, Philippines
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in chemical industry. Our respected client is seeking an executive with at least 5-7 years of experience in Sales/Marketing/Technical Sales with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Masterbatch, Pigments or Polymer Industry for the job of Sales Manager. The position will be based in Metro, Manila, Philippines.

Job summary:

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for capturing customer's requirements, develop data for promoting existing and new products, handle trouble shooting, and assist the Regional Sales Manager/Asia Sales Manager for achievement of planned sales target and business goals. The incumbent will have responsibility for Sales Target and apply sale & business strategy in the responsible area. The responsibilities will be developing the strong customer base which will result in growth of business in term of profit and sale volume in the responsible.

Key job responsibilities include:

This position will be responsible for Sales in the Philippines territory
* Seeking new opportunities/new applications especially new customers in the Philippines
* Responsible for capturing customer's requirements, developing data for promoting existing and new
products, handling troubleshooting, and assisting to achieve the planned sales target and business
* Developing a strong customer base will result in business growth in terms of profit and sale volume in
the responsible area.

Job Responsibilities:
* Achievement of planned sales, revenue, and profit goals for the territory
* Creating & applying sales & business strategy in the responsible area/country
* Developing the sales targets within the country, and expanding more opportunities; new
products/new customer base in the country
* Managing to achieve the sales objectives and implementing the sales strategy
* Monitoring the pricing and profit across the product types and customers in the country & initiating
appropriate actions and controls in case of deviation.
* Implementing the business strategies of business units in the country to achieve the individual
business objective by closely working with respective Business Managers
* Developing, and visiting current and new accounts to sustain, improve and initiate sales positions
* Exploit opportunities; negotiate major sales contracts & rebates in key accounts in the country
* Providing basic technical information to customers, for example introducing newly developed
techniques or practices for using the company's products
* Taking care of the customer's problems, issues, and requests and either directly solving or passing
them on to the responsible function for their resolution
* Planning, Forecasting, and coordinating with CSR and internal team
* Market intelligence information to monitor market intelligence in the responsible area relating to
Asia's market position, key account trends, and competitive conditions

Job Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields
* Must have 5-7 years of experience in sales/marketing/technical sales in Masterbatch, Pigment,
Polymer, or other similar products/applications
* Know Masterbatch market in the territory
* Having a customer base in Polymer, Masterbatch Industries
* Excellent communication skills, specifically in both spoken and written English
* Good personality
