Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational plastic-manufacturing company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 8 years' experience or more in the industrial plastic engineering sector for the job of Area Sales Manager.

The Area Sales Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager in the regional office, Singapore.

Job responsibilities:

  • A representative for Indonesia's market
  • Develop and expand market share of engineering and high-performance plastics to achieve optimal sales target
  • Establish and build close liaison with OEMs, distributors, machine shop and end users in the local market
  • Maintain relationship with Partners and Customers
  • Acquisition more customers to increase sales revenue
  • Establish sales strategy in search of business opportunity and enhancement in the plastic industry of the local market;
  • Oversee the sales trend and demand of the market
  • Communicate and report openly on the business development to the management

Job requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Science / Polymer or Engineering (Chemical) are preferred.
  • Candidate with technical background of plastic machining & process is an advantage
  • Candidate with industrial sales experience and customer contacts and network in Engineering Plastics and High Performance Plastics in relevant markets will be preferred
  • At least 8 years' experience in a Sales function in industry related
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
  • A go-getter and self-starter who is able to achieve the sales target;
  • High integrity and having good sales attitude
  • Candidate shall be based from home and result-oriented, and relationship-sales development.
