Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading consumer goods company. Our respected client is seeking a professional with at least 4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and corporate events, 1 year in management position. The job is based in Medan, Indonesia.


  • Initiate, plan, and develop localized sales programs for the Sumatera Region to achieve regional sales targets and distributor growth goals.
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies in alignment with corporate and regional objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of sales targets by analyzing forecasted market trends and distributor data.
  • Advise senior management on current developments, trends, and distributor responses within the Sumatera Region.
  • Plan and support the distributor network within the Sumatera Region with the promotion of local, regional, and worldwide events and incentives.
  • Organize corporate Home Office Meetings (HOM), Sales Training Seminars (STS), and distributor trainings in Medan and other locations to drive Herbalife sales and distributor engagement.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics and language support for worldwide events in collaboration with the Sales Communication Function and Regional & International Sales & Communications.
  • Improve communication channels between distributors in the Sumatera Region by providing accurate, up-to-date, and reliable information.
  • Ensure timely and clear distribution of worldwide promotions, incentives, and product launches through various communication channels for the Sumatera Region.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with a background in Business or Sales & Marketing.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory position.
  • Experience in Network Marketing/Direct Selling, FMCG, Retail Sales, Insurance, or the Nutritional Food Industry is a plus.
  • Bilingual with fluent English language skills (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Bi-cultural adaptability to work comfortably in a multinational environment, including interacting with international distributors.
  • Customer service-oriented with the flexibility to work with both local and international distributors.
  • Highly energetic and enthusiastic about understanding the market and maintaining close contact with distributors and customers.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to provide insightful reports and recommendations.
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision, delivering results in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to work long hours occasionally, including weekends, and adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
  • Familiarity with technology trends, including social media, is essential.
  • Excellent people skills and exceptional communication abilities are a must.
