THE ROLE

• Research and development of novel Bioinformatics Algorithms
• Building Bioinformatics Pipelines and packages in Python or R
• You will have the opportunity to work within microbial genomics and working closely with wet lab scientists
• Joining an established team with growth plans to hire an additional team members over the next 6-12 months and progress track for promotions

THE INDIVIDUAL

• Must hold a PHD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biological degree with a computational focus or similar
• Must have experience in microbial genomics
• Must have solid coding skills in Python or R and ability to build Bioinformatics Pipelines and / or algorithms
• Strong NGS experience
