Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an outsourced accounts service that is powered by a dedicated team of experts, smart technology, and forward-thinking accounting solutions. Our highly respected client is seeking a Bookkeeper who can work from home Monday to Friday between the hours of 5:00 AM and 2:00 PM and who is also willing to report on-site once a month. The office is based in Ortigas, Pasig.

Position Overview

  1. To process invoicing and accounts payables.
  2. To carry out banking activities
  3. To process payroll
  4. To prepare monthly accounts
  5. To complete compliance, reporting and clerical duties

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Support the Finance team in ensuring the Group's internal policies and procedures are followed throughout the Group.
  2. Manage the accounts payable process for all subsidiary companies within the Group, including the following tasks:
    1. Enter all creditor invoices into the Pronto and Xero system.
    2. Prepare creditor payment runs.
    3. File creditor invoices.
    4. Process internal business expense claims, credit cards and fuels cards.
    5. Maintain and update automatic payments.
    6. Reconcile creditors statements to the creditors aged trial balance, following up identified discrepancies.
    7. Other ad hoc tasks as and when required.
    8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data within all relevant financial systems.
    9. Act as backup for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Officers.

Key requirements include:
Essential

  • Minimum of 2-year experience in similar role
  • Very good written and oral English communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Xero certified advisor
  • High attention to de
  • Experience working with global clients is a MUST

  • Experience with accounting software - Receipt Bank, Hubdoc
  • Experience with working remotely for offshore clients
