Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a digital ticketing platform for events of all sizes. Our client is seeking for an experienced business development professional for the job of Business Development Executive. The job is based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be dealing with event organisers, acquiring new clients, whilst servicing and managing existing clients, handling their needs, and assisting the business development manager in developing sales and marketing strategies for customer acquisition. Professional standards and etiquette should always be upheld, as well as being able to adapt your conversation style to that of the individual clients as well as building good rapport with them.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new event organisers who are a good fit for our products and services to meet sales goals (because acquiring event organisers with poor fit will lead to low to no sales with low retention)
  • Understand the company's products and services to determine whether prospective clients are a good fit
  • Assist the business development manager in advising improvements for company's products and services to be competitive in the market for our targeted customer segments
  • Manage clients on an interpersonal level to best accommodate their needs
  • Manage client's needs and deliver expected works on a timely manner to maintain client satisfaction. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Guiding them through the on-boarding process
  • Creating, editing, filtering of any content submitted by the clients
  • Communicating any additional requirements from the clients to the team and ensuring those needs are serviced accordingly
  • Supervising on-site related work on the day of the event to ensure our products and services are delivered successfully and meets client's expectations
  • Assist the business development manager in developing sales and marketing strategies for customer acquisition
  • Undertake other positions or assignments as and when required by the company

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, communication or related sales
  • At least 1 year of sales experience
  • Sales DNA with service mind
  • Competitive nature - Extremely eager to learn and win
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and the local language
  • Excellent presentation/proposal creating skills
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills
  • Ability to communicate to a professional audience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated and self-learning capability
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the event industry with strong network is a big plus
  • Understanding of software development process, especially for e-commerce platform
