Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the logistics industry. Our respected client is seeking an executive with at least (5) years experience in Sales and business expansion, and client acquisition from Transportation, Warehousing, Trucking, Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics for the position of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Malate Manila, Philippines

Job Summary:

The Business Development will be responsible in overseeing various aspects of the business, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, procurement, and vendor management and ensuring company's commercial success.

Key job responsibilities include:

* Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and market conditions.
* Analyse cost structures and market trends to set competitive and profitable pricing.
* Bid projects, lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
* Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, ensuring reliable and cost-effective sourcing of services.
* Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, to support decision-making and profitable improvement.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing materials for warehousing transport sales.
* Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns.
* Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecast, and performance analyses to the management.
* Train the team to effectively communicate product benefits to clients.
* Identify and implement best practices in sales management.
* Lead the relationship development, and account attainment or growth with key warehousing customers.
* Attending or leading sales meetings, customer workshops, and Quarterly Business Reviews for existing Multinational Corporation warehousing accounts with growth potential.
* To perform other related work requirement that may be assigned

Job Requirements

* Candidate must be a University/College graduate of any 4-year course: Business, Logistics, or any related.
* At least more than 5 years of experience in contract logistics (with relevant experience in international freight forwarding and warehousing is an advantage) or relevant experience.
* With record of successful distribution and logistics management.
* With outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
* Proficient in standard logistics software and system.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships.
* Willing to work in Malate Manila.
