International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global Biotechnology leader; we are seeking a Business Manager to add to their team in HCMC. You will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities for the company's business across Vietnam. Our client needs an individual with 8+ years of demonstrated success with outside sales and a strong working knowledge of Life Science.

This role will work closely with the Regional Business Director, and play a strategic but hands-on role in identifying and managing high-impact opportunities in the Life Science market. The success of this role will focus on your ability to build business strategies and initiatives that will drive performance and develop key relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and developing strategic Monthly/Quarterly/Annually business and go-to-market plans
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning
  • Analyzing sales and industry trends and making appropriate recommendations to ensure long-range planning needs are met
  • Managing the relationships with the company's channel partners (B2B, local distributors…)
  • Develop strategic relationships with high-value stakeholders both within existing channels as well as newly identified channels
  • Managing and reviewing channel partners' business performance, achievements (sales budget, profitability), challenges, and fine-tuning sales strategies
  • Drive growth across channel portfolios to a multi-distributor business model strategy
  • Cultivate and build strategic relationships across a network of distributors to expand and capture potential business opportunities across the region
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Connecting and managing KOLs in the market (Doctors, Healthcare professionals…)


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Biological/Medical Sciences/Biomedical Sciences/Medical Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience in Life Science with a proven sales track record. Experience in managing sales teams or channel partners is a must.
  • Fluency and proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • High- level of commercial acumen, numerical reasoning, analytical, and reporting skills
