Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a renowned multi-national company. The Category Development Manager will create strategies to improve sales results and deliver customer category objectives. This role is on a hybrid work set-up and will be reporting to the Demand Manager.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Will analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
Recommend category and growth strategies
In charge in product modernization and transformation
Conduct product presentations
Manage product distribution
Oversee review process with clients and customers and provide analysis
Identify opportunities for product growth and advancement
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
At least 5 years work experience in Managerial level
Strong experience in sales & distribution / channel management / field trade marketing
Must have good planning capability
Must understand D-commerce
Significant experience in project management
Excellent written, visual and verbal presentation skills
Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives
Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility
Ability to work under pressure
Eagerness to communicate outside of working hours on urgent and priority issues
Willingness to support the needs of other departments if necessary
