Chief Executive Officer - Medical Devices (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on medical devices. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least twenty years of experience in a medical devices and distribution company for the job of Chief Executive Officer. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Direct report to Shareholder
- Planning and control of different business development strategies to ensure the market can be penetrated to both government and private sector
- Monitor and take action on business development and effectiveness while attaining exponential /fast-growing sales results
- Prepare the groundwork/ start-up preparation, including market survey (such as listing down potential clients), involved in the product distribution, building up the organization, and getting details ready for initial business development activities
- Handle operational activities, including covering another sector of operation, distribution, and customer handling as part of extended consumer services (serving the targeted market)
- Run regular meetings and report to the management related to the progress of the business development
- Coordinate the distribution of the product with the overseas principal
- Consult with clients for the sales and distribution channel
- Review and evaluate the customer claims
- Decide regarding the business development, supply chain, and distribution of products and operation
- Make a recommendation regarding key contractual matters, including sales strategy, distribution channel, and operation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related major from reputable university
- 15-20 years experience field sales and marketing experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations
- Deep knowledge (excellent product knowledge) of medical devices and a good understanding of the updated market in Indonesia
- Strong exposure to medical devices business development and its distribution channel
- Skill in overall general management with a focus on sales achievement
- Possess leadership to head the team
- Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with the team and also across other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
- Target-oriented and aggressive sales characteristics.
- Capability to work independently (analyze, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
- Strong exposure in opening a new market for both government and private sector in medical devices
