International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies dedicated to providing high-quality products.

As our respective client is expanding their market, we're looking for a Commercial Director (North and Central) who is based in North or Central and willing to relocate/ travel frequently.

Job Summary:

As a Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team in the North and Central region. You will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the North and Central region in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize their potential.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Key Account Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key accounts and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the region to facilitate resource allocation and planning.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion and growth within the region.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and legal requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities for senior management.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree holder in related major
  • At least 5-year proven experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry.
  • Sufficient English skill.
  • Profound knowledge of FMCG industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as needed.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
