Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf of a Decentralized autonomous organisation (DAO) that provides value for investors and gamers in the emerging blockchain metaverse (Social + Gaming + Non-Fungible Tokens).

The winning candidate must get the engagement levels up and get more followers. This candidate will be more of a back-end person that has e-sports experience. Ideally, have experience in building a gaming community (DOTA, STEAM, CSCO).

Job Description

  • Determine the community strategy of the game involving communication and participating in the schedule and the creation of online and offline events.
  • Maintain consistent and positive presence in discussion forums in order to understand the state of the community, and what they need.
  • Manage and maintain our client's local profile and image.
  • Conceptualization and planning of new game event and content.
  • Manage and coordinate media events and live-streams with our client's key representatives to increase positive exposure.
  • Organize, manage and oversee community meet-ups and any other local events, which the company may decide to organize from time to time, ensuring proper community outreach and media coverage.
  • Manage local online/offline communities and channels.
  • Moderate local forums, social platforms and chat groups and interact with the community to increase positive engagement.
  • Ensure community acquisition and growth through reinforcing a positive image of the company.
  • Explore new community-friendly platforms to facilitate the expansion of our client's local user base and influence.
  • Build our client's gaming arm and its community (DOTA, STEAM, CSCO).
  • Provide feedback to Management of the company and suggest improvements in order to increase engagement and market share in the region.
  • Stay on top of the local and international gaming and crypto trends and news.

Job Qualification

  • Proven community management experience, preferably in gaming.
  • Multilingual ability with Native level proficiency in local language and business level proficiency in English.
  • Previous experience with media and PR relationship management. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and is tech-savvy.
  • Possess strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be highly organized with very strong attention to details.
  • Be passionate and well-acquainted with various genres of games.
  • Be able to work independently with a keen sense of ownership and responsibility.
