Compensation and Benefits Manager - Mining (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on mining. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a Compensation and Benefits professional with at least 10 years' experience with a mining industry for the job of Compensation and Benefits Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:

  • Directly reports to the Group HR Head
  • Designs the set of different compensation and benefits policies
  • Designs the basic compensation structures in the organization (grading system, job evaluation system, job description policy, promotion policy, etc) aligned with the corporate culture and the corporate values
  • Leads different HR Projects (not just projects from the compensation and benefits area)
  • Coordinates compensation processes like the salary planning, bonus planning and incentive schemes development
  • Approves exceptions in the compensation of the individual employees
  • Represents the organization at different HR conferences

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Psychology
  • Have strong knowledge of Compensation and Benefits
  • Strong background from consultancies in compensation structures in the organization
  • Strong and proven analytical skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Networking and Influencing skills
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Self-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
