Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an award-winning digital platform that distributes digital version of newspaper and magazines.

Job Summary
Our respected client is seeking a Compliance and Administrative Officer who will be ensuring government documents and transactions, developing compliance monitoring reports, maintaining accurate inventory and managing negotiations with vendors.

The Compliance and Administrative Officer is expected to be a detailed oriented professional with a positive attitude. The job is in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, and offers a Monday thru Friday - morning shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, weekends off with HyFlex work arrangement, 3 days onsite and 2 days' work from home.

Key job responsibilities:

Assist the Corporate and Compliance Director on the following mandate:

  • Ensure adherence to government required online and offline reports, documents, and transactions with government agencies such as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), National Privacy Commission (NPC), Local Government Units, Bureau of Fire, SSS, PHIC, HMDF, etc.
  • Data security and integrity across all departments pertaining to corporate property, transactions and client information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act, related internal and local laws, and company data policies.
  • Undertake measures to isolate or minimize business risks by maintaining an up-to-date information on government regulations and industry standards to align company's overall strategies.
  • Develop and improve appropriate weekly, monthly, and quarterly Compliance Monitoring reports as needed.
  • Work closely with all Teams to monitor and audit Internal Compliance of all employees regarding implemented operations guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned or required by management.

Assists the Facilities and Admin Manager with the following tasks:

  • Periodic physical inventory audits of all office supplies/equipment and maintains an accurate and up-to-date inventory system (including asset tagging) of all office facilities.
  • Gather quotations and comparative reports and manage negotiation with vendors in relation to the procurement of supplies and equipment and works with vendors to report and resolve equipment failures or problems.
  • Assist the project manager with future migration plans and office expansion, including space planning, budget projection, coordination with contractors/supplies, and implementation of as-built plans.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the security and maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee the utilization and schedule of use of all facilities (workstations/seat plan, conference and training rooms, offices, parking, common areas, etc.) to ensure they are in good condition and are conducive for employees to use.
  • Manage the distribution and replenishment of all office, pantry, and medicine supplies.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned or required by management.​


Key job qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Office Management or related Business Course.
  • Working experience with Inventory, Purchasing and Office Management.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
  • High degree of accuracy and data entry skills.
  • Ability to deliver work on time and within deadlines.
  • Able to do tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess the flexibility to work on various projects and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving continuous improvement and total quality in the performance of all assigned duties.
