Our respected client is seeking for a seasoned Manager with solid knowledge in Finance & Accounting for Finance Manager/Controller position. The job is based in Rosario, Cavite Philippines.

Job Summary:

* The Finance Manager/Factory Controller manages finance operations for factory to ensure a robust finance management over cost, internal control, and compliance. Lead the finance team to manage Finance analysis and budgeting, deliver an accurate finance management reporting including but not limited to P&L, Capex, Working Capital, KPIs in a timely manner.

Key job responsibilities include:

* The Factory Controller/Finance Manager manages finance operations for factory and leaf to ensure a robust finance management over cost, internal control, and compliance. Lead the finance team to manage Finance analysis and budgeting, deliver an accurate finance management reporting including but not limited to P&L, Capex, Working Capital, KPIs in a timely manner.
* Coordinate cross functional preparation of Budget planning and Quarterly Latest Estimation (LE) planning.
* Manage monthly closing for factory and supervise the preparation of monthly management reports including but not limited to P&L, Material movements, factory KPIs such as Tobacco & Non- Tobacco Materials Waste, tobacco Yield, rate & productivity with data provided by responsible depts.
* Lead the Finance team to perform monthly internal audits to ensure factory operations are comply with LTL and Imperial expected internal control standards. All cross functional operation process is updated with sufficient documentation and compensation controls are pre-approved by delegated persons. All committed improvement actions are deployed as planned without overdue.
* Review and approve all factory operation related Purchase Order (PO) and Tax Invoices to ensure all Opex and Capex are in line with Group Approval Matrix and comply with functional requirements.

* Ensure a well assets custody mechanism be in place for Factory and Leaf operations. It includes Machineries, Equipment, Factory Facilities including office and shop floors, Raw Materials, Spare parts, Semi-finished products and finished products.
* Manage Transfer costs (TC), Transfer Price (TP) and Export sales.
* Prepare and maintain intra-group transfer pricing calculations and documentation to ensure compliance with local taxation requirements and group finance rationales.
* Sound internal stakeholder management include but not limited to Group Finance, Group Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Global Procurement, Leaf Procurement, Global Engineering and Group IT., etc.
* Support Capex project owners to smooth the Investments/Impairment application approval process; Challenge the financial return against planned investment is a must.
* Ensure factory associated financial reporting to comply with Imperial finance manual, IFRS, and Philippines' GAAP with limited exceptions which be pre-approved according to Group Approval Matrix.
* Ensure sound working relationships with local finance and accounting teams and provide required support if necessary.
* Manage people management for Finance team including but not limited to hiring, training and development as well as Deputy and succession plan to ensure continuously finance operations for PBC Factory and Leaf

* Major in Finance/Accounting (must be a CPA)
* With master's degree in finance/Economics
* Has managed complexity in leading projects (e.g., ERP-implementation, Finance Share Services)
* Has ERP experience and has advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Has strong analytic skills with the ability to quickly comprehend and explain complex matters.
* Experience in accounting/finance; Experience of people management is a plus.
* Experience with cross cultural and auditing firms would be an advantage.
* Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
* Team player with Logic thinking and well organized.

* Willing to work at Rosario Cavite
