The Company

Company is developing groundbreaking digital asset technology that enables institutions to transact assets across the capital markets and payment sectors. They are a stealth mode start-up growing quickly and looking to build out their engineering team, starting with the Engineering Manager.

The Role

You'll be the first Engineering Manager, reporting directly to the head of engineering. You'll be building and managing team(s) of engineers and defining our culture early on to set a solid foundation. You'll be responsible for managing broad areas, such as reliability, scalability, and security, or domain areas, such as blockchain tools ecosystem, the blockchain core, based on your expertise, strengths, and interests.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess these qualities:

• You have managed high performing engineering teams in the blockchain space.
• At least 8+ years of hands-on Software Development experience in at least one of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, Python, Rails etc., building full-stack applications
• Strong AWS experience

• Ability to thrive in a small start-up type environment and communicate effectively
• BS in Computer Science or similar
