CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support all processes around month end and year end (financial and management) accounting

• and reporting
• Prepare and report on regulatory capital requirements and resources
• Be accountable for all aspects of local taxes
• Manage legal entity treasury and FX exposures
• Ensure support is given to internal projects on a timely basis
• Be responsible for client money reconciliation, daily cash sheets, bank reconciliations and daily
• transfers
• Own income and expense sides of general ledger
• Be accountable for purchase and sales ledger and oversee all aspect of control that ultimately
• impact the general ledger
• Liaison with external and internal auditors and, where applicable

KEY COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of HK GAAP
• Knowledge of SFC regulations including capital and reporting requirements is perferred
• Must be comfortable working in a standalone environment

Knowledge, Functional Skills and Other:

• Commodity and Financial Futures and Options industry knowledge and experience preferred
• Strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin business language (written and verbal) ability
• Right of abode in Hong Kong
• Good knowledge with general ledger and database experience
• Business experience of dealing with suppliers and clients
• Excel proficiency with VBA skills preferred
• Positive personal approach which gives confidence
• 3 years accounting experiences with brokerage firms
• Aim to work in a stable environment.
