Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is hiring on behalf of one of the leading medical device companies in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking for a Finance Manager who will oversee their finance department and focus on taxation, accounts receivables, internal controls, and payroll support. The position will directly report to the Head of Finance based in Singapore.
The office is based in Makati City, Philippines.
Key job responsibilities include the following:
- Overall manage full spectrum of the accounting functions, including payables and receivables, inventory management, general ledger and financial reporting
- To ensure corporate governance is in place and in compliance with local GAAPs and corporate accounting standards
- Make certain that monthly financial statements and variance analysis are accurate and up to date
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in accordance with Corporate guidelines
- Issue internal management reports and analyse financial performance of business units
- Control and manage inventory adjustments and movements
- Accounting for inter-company transaction meeting transfer pricing guidelines
- To aid on HR administrative dealings and 3rd party payroll support in terms of providing assistance on salary payment and statutory contribution submissions
- Prepare company financial records for timely annual statutory audit and liaise with external auditors
- To ensure direct and indirect tax compliance
- To supervise account assistant organising accounts receivable data entry and collections for monthly business reviews.
- Conduct reporting, planning and analysis on accounts receivable for the Philippine operations
- To identify irregularities on existing financial statements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance, or equivalents, with CPA membership
- Can be a CPA or non CPA
- Has at least 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Strong audit knowledge and experience
- Experienced with Microsoft Navision
- Willing to do basic HR Admin function (ie. Creating COE, memorandum, etc.)
- Must have high regard for Integrity
- Able to work independently, prioritise and organise tasks accurately and timely
- Strong analytic and technical accounting skills
- Superb attention to detail and good business judgement resulting to new ideas and techniques to improve process, controls and practices
- Good interpersonal skills and with good collaboration abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to work onsite from Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm at Makati City
