Front End Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites. As a Front End Developer, you will work closely with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop responsive web applications and websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Utilise front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Ember, to expedite development.
  • Test websites and web applications on different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code as necessary to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and technologies in web development and incorporate them into projects when applicable.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge in web development through self-learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to development best practices and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development.
  • Have working experience in the banking industry
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
  • Experience working with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Ember.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug code.
  • Good understanding of web development best practices and standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge or experience in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, RDBMS.
  • Familiarity with mobile development platforms such as Objective-C for iOS and Java for Android.
  • Experience with Ruby programming language.
  • Advocate for delivery excellence and minimising delivery risk.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Experience in continuous development, integration, and testing.
