Executive Recruitment Company Monroe Consulting Group's Health Division is partnering with the leading beauty and wellness company in Malaysia. As the business growth and expansion continues, our esteemed client is looking for a General Manager to overseas all operations and driving success of their luxurious wellness club.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and implementation forward-thinking strategies to solidify the club's position as a leader in the wellness industry.
  • Innovate wellness programs to cater to the dynamic needs of VIP clients.
  • Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performance team, including physiotherapists, functional medicine doctors, and client servicing personnel.
  • Foster a culture of excellence through continuous training and development programs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including the management of operational purchases, invoicing and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and reports, facilitating transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with VIP clients, offering personalized services and experiences.
  • Develop client relations strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and attract premium clientele.
  • Foster community relations and strategic partnerships to boost the club's reputation.
  • Oversee the organization and management of club events, including wellness workshops, VIP gatherings, and promotional events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver successful events.
  • Ensure the club meets and exceeds industry standards in all service offerings through regular evaluations and feedback analysis.
  • Initiate improvements and innovations based on client feedback and industry trends.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Implement risk management strategies to safeguard the club's assets and reputation.
  • Ensure the facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and maintain an ambiance of luxury and tranquility.
  • Supervise the maintenance team to uphold pristine conditions and operational excellence.

Requirement:

  • Minimum of 6 years in managerial roles, with a substantial tenure in the luxury wellness or hospitality sector.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An adaptive mindset, able to pivot strategies to meet dynamic industry demands.
