Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a software company in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking a sales professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience for the position of VP Beauty. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job summary

  • The VP Beauty will lead the team and will be responsible for the end to end aspects of the category activities, including growing the team, sales strategy and customer retention.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Hire and develop sales staff
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to reach their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where required
  • Implement infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners, to develop key relationships

Key job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top tier international university
  • A minimum of 12 years of working experience
  • Strong experience in handling beauty category and beauty products
  • Experience in GM/ VP Sales / VP Marketing / Chief Revenue Officer or any other related roles for at least three years
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Have been in a leadership/team management role for 3-5 years
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus
