Our client is an established Financial service firm who are seeking for Marketing professional to join and drive the team.

This role is responsible for the achievement of our objectives and aspiration of delivering market leading direct and digital sales products and solutions to meet the changing customers' needs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ownership, development, and decision making on all matters related to direct business.
Priority setting against changing business objectives and wider strategic direction / clear direction for the self and team / wider areas involved in the delivery of the goals.
Strategic Direct Business Plans and Execution of business units sales targets
Budget Management
Effective Risk Management/Governance BUDGETS
Internal Budget management responsibility as agreed with
Resource Complexity - People, Process, Financial & System
Leadership Management of 4 direct report. This role requires team management skills.
Ability to guide, motivate and influence team members.
Managing team and budget
Planning and setting goals for the team
Career development and growth objectives setting up
Supporting employees with training and development activities
Build a performance-driven, test and learn and commercially driven team focused on performance and productivity.
Drive collaborative behaviour with leadership team across the wider business.
Demonstrate understanding of regulatory and compliance processes and actively participate in relevant governance committees
Champion a culture of proactively managing risk, continuous improvement, action, and accountability.
Problem Solving - Routine, concrete, complex or conceptual This role requires business planning for direct business.
Business planning includes - ability to manage overall direct business and understanding of various business metrices and budget management.
Concrete and Conceptual problem solving that leads to business strategy planning and results / targets achievement is a must.
Change - Adapt and Respond or Initiate and Drive This role requires to lead, identify and develop innovative direct business solutions and propositions.
Self-Initiative to kill complexity, simplify processes, seamless fulfilment journeys for better customer experience.
Quick decision making and ability to respond to business and market changes, subject to approval by Department Heads and Finance or CEO where applicable. Internal Network - Local and/or Global This role requires collaboration with Senior Management as well as their teams for planning, approvals and execution of initiatives as per the above role description
Head of Product and Pricing and their teams
All channel Distribution Heads and their respective teams.
External partnerships:
Product and Marketing Team as well as key personnel within the sales franchises.
Sales Capability Team
Internal Communications Team
Distribution Operations
Senior Managers and Heads of & Operations.
Internal and External creative resources
Global marketing teams
Legal and Compliance.
Head / Senior Managers in IT / CM External Network - Customer Liaison and/or Strategic Relationship
Key day to day contacts for managing key external supplier relationships. The nature of a Direct business means that some of these are business critical in terms of delivering the business targets.
Internal Risk Management and Governance
Promote good risk management culture, governance, and oversight relevant to my role and my business function(s)
Responsible to own, identify, measure, manage, and report risks and controls relevant to my role and my business function(s), in accordance with Risk Management Framework. This includes timely resolution of control gaps and escalation of key issues at the relevant committees.
Ensure that policies, processes and authority limits are updated, communicated and observed within my business functions(s). Exceptions are promptly dealt with and authorised by the appropriate level of management or the Board
Ensure appropriate levels of skills and experience within the team to carry out the business functions and that the Compliance Liaison Officer within the business function is given sufficient support
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations in Singapore, including but not limited to those issued by the MAS and the Group business standards and policies

Education Qualifications:
Diploma in business, marketing, or related field
Marketing and sales related qualification(s) desirable Required Capability
Minimum of 15 years marketing experience within the insurance industry
Significant experience & success in Direct Sales and Marketing functions
Successful track record of leading and delivering successful direct campaigns.
Successful demonstration of effective strategic development and execution / delivery.
Proven ability in managing relationships at all levels - internal and external - inc. senior stakeholder management.
Successful leadership of projects and initiatives through team and extended teams.
Proven ability to manage priorities and set clear direction for self, direct team and within projects.
