Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is partnered with fast-growing International Fintech Start-up, specializing in Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL). Our client is looking for a Head of Finance to manage the relationship with authorities and to oversee risk & financial performance within company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis on profit and cost, managing resources and cash flow, and giving cost-reducing solution recommendation
  • Conduct analysis on financial performance and the company's actual performance relative to the business plan
  • Budgeting and forecasting according to company's needs (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Compliance to Regulatory Bodies and other Reporting requirements
  • Handling month-end, quarter, and annual closing as well as submitting required report
  • Creating sound and risk-free financial SOPs and Policies
  • Liase with external auditor and finance and tax authorities
  • Handling operations of the Finance Department and managing 10+ team members
  • Developing a framework for OKRs
  • Build and maintain relationship with existing and potential investors
  • Contributing to strategic planning for regulatory changes
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant government or regulatory bodies

Requirement:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Banking and Multifinance industry
  • Bachelor Degree from a reputable university majoring in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or any other accountancy related qualification is a plus
  • Adequate working Knowledge of all statutory legislations and regulations
  • Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Having overseas working experience, experience in fintech start-up, and experience working in Big 4 Accounting Firm is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Posses a good analytical skill, attention to detail, and spreadsheet skill
  • Experience in team management on SEA/APAC level will be a plus point
  • Professional English proficiency is a MUST
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
