International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a pharmaceutical company.

Our highly respected client is seeking a Head of Legal and Compliance. The job is open only for Vietnamese, the candidate will be based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
    • Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines in all aspects of the business.
    • Monitor changes in the legal and regulatory landscape and promptly update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
    • Provide expert advice on legal matters related to pharmaceutical products, marketing, distribution, and any other relevant areas.
    • Conduct periodic internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and address them effectively.
  • Contract Management:
    • Oversee contract drafting, negotiation, and review processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the company's interests.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contracts are favorable, accurate, and appropriately mitigate risks.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution:
    • Handle or coordinate legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation, in collaboration with external legal counsel when necessary.
    • Develop strategies to minimize legal exposure and the risk of potential disputes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various internal departments, including R&D, marketing, sales, finance, and HR, to ensure compliance requirements are met across the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years working in pharmaceutical industry at the same position.
  • Graduated from a regular university majoring in Law. Candidates with a Practicing Certificate for Lawyers are preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal affairs activities of enterprises.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations.
  • Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and bargaining skills.
