Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a notable General Insurance company. Our respected client is seeking a qualified individual as Head of Operation (Technical Claims and Underwriting). The position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of operation within General Insurance, particularly in claims, issuance, and underwriting. They need to have strong integrity, leadership, as well as project management expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and operational excellence.
  • Provide strategic direction for the claims department, ensuring timely and fair claims settlement processes.
  • Implement best practices in claims management to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a strong reputation
  • Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring the development and implementation of sound underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the underwriting team to assess and manage risks effectively.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to meet and exceed performance targets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the operations team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from reputable Universities.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in insurance company as operation, general insurance background, but life insurance background can be considered.
  • Expertise in claims, issuance, and underwriting.
  • Proven experience in operation optimization within insurance companies.
  • Outstanding communication, personality, leadership, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Clean background from previous companies
