Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading multinational pharmaceutical companies for a Head of Trade role. The role will ensure availability of brands in trade channels and provide assistance to the sales team on penetrating new channels and key accounts as well as initial placements of newly launch brands in the market. The role will report to the Commercial Operations Director and will manage 7 Key Account Manager. Work setup is hybrid.

Key job responsibilities include:

* Negotiate with the trade in the achievement of Company's monthly sales target.
* Develops both short- and long-term plans and execution designed to increase presence of company products in the trade to increase off-take.
* Ensures regular coordination with the outlets in the execution of possible revenue generating activities.
* Ensures timely distribution and penetration of new products in the trade outlets in support to marketing activities.
* Negotiates with the Key Accounts on brand placements and availabilities especially for launch brands.
* Ensures on time, in full (OTIF) deliveries of products to outlets based on agreed fixed delivery schedule (FDS).
* Manages effective the discount and trade deals based on "Partnership" selling and value-based proposition and not solely on discount proposition.
* Executes Company Partnership Program.
* Reviews and revises regularly (if needed) of the annual discounting program based on market needs and competition benchmark.

Key job qualifications include:
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 10 years of working experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company managing Trade channels and key accounts (i.e. Mercury Drugstore, Watsons, etc.)
* Experience managing a national scope
* English proficiency in written and oral
* Communication / presentation skill
* Open to work in a hybrid work setup
