HR Change Manager

This immediate project is a unique opportunity to join an International Insurance company on a 12 month FTC.

The role is a critical enabler of the IT Modernisation strategy, driving major initiatives such as the development of new role profiles, career frameworks, selection processes and capability development through a learning strategy. The role holder will direct, support, and oversee global and regional HR teams in the planning and execution of major people change and learning initiatives. The incumbent will also be accountable for HR processes, procedures and execution activities that are transparent, treat staff with respect and enable capability development to match the future needs of the Technology Services function. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop their own agile skillset and develop with the function.

Typical Duties will include:
* Define the People workstream strategy and plan for the iterative implementation of the IT Modernisation organisational and operating model changes
* Develop the IT Modernisation capability development learning strategy and roadmap
* Drive the development of effective career paths and re-designed role profiles to deliver the shift to an Agile organisation
* Own the global change impact analysis on existing roles, ensuring any refinements remain true to the Technology Services role harmonisation principles
* Oversee work with global reward teams to evaluate new or updated role profiles in alignment with role harmonisation principles
* Set the guiderails for global and regional HR teams to design and implement effective selection, redeployment and exit processes that protect the company against appeals
* Act as consultant to the IT Modernisation programme team on all People change implications
* Manage programme visibility via the Agile toolkit of Jira and Miro
* Develop and oversee the production of an OD change toolkit to support global and regional teams in the consistent execution of iterative OD change in both regional CIO and functional teams
* Globally oversee the planning and execution of selection, redeployment and exit processes initiated through IT Modernisation organisational or operating model change
* Direct the L&D Specialist to identify, develop, deliver and evaluation effective learning pathways and interventions that map to the career framework roles, skills and proficiency levels
* Drive Technology Services' implementation of the company Skills Ecosystem to support career path clarity, skills gap analysis and learning provision aligned to the goals of the IT Modernisation programme
* Support the work to enhance the company performance process to align with the needs of Agile working practices
* Establish and maintain excellent collaborative working relationships within the project teams, customer groups and external vendors
* Collaborate with the global and regional HR delivery teams and external suppliers to support the execution of the updated Technology Services Career framework into business as usual
* Track and oversee delivery of activities to meet all milestones and delivery requirements
* Track and update the ITM risk register ensuring all ITM people risk is accounted for
* Create succinct and impactful reports/papers/presentations
* Work with the HR Programmes and Learning assistant to manage data requests, learning licences and reporting
* Oversee maintenance and integrity of Technology Services people data
* Coaching and developing HR team members and colleagues

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:
* Experienced in supporting major organisational change
* Experienced in the development and execution of capability development and learning strategies
* Experience of driving people change initiatives and associated people impacts e.g., selection, redeployment, and redundancy situations
* Experienced of working in a globally federated complex organisation
* Experienced in supporting IT teams or functions
* Experience of consulting with multi-disciplined clients to understand change impacts on people
* Strong experience of implementing selection, redeployment and redundancy processes
* Familiar with career and learning frameworks, models and their use in underpinning business strategies
* Experience of working with Agile, SAFe and/or Kanban
* Experienced in Workday and IBM Skills Cloud or similar technologies
