Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of an established MNC Manufacturing company based in Negeri Sembilan. Our respected client is seeking a Human Resource Manager specialised in compensation and benefits with at least 7 years' experience in HR Administration.

The winning candidate is responsible for the overall wellfare of the employees, focusing on compensation and benefits management which includes, reconciliation of payroll and compute salary. He or she will be leading the policy benchmarking and classifications.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for compensation and benefits management which includes, reconciliation of payroll and compute salary, wages, overtime, allowance, statutory deductions etc. on timely manner
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely for the Pay-out of salary, wages etc. monthly and bi-monthly
  • Prepare salary and wages reports to internal and external stakeholders including overtime, Man-hours, management report and facilitate statistical reports for authorities
  • Prepare all deductions and payments to statutory bodies, financial institutions (compensation and benefits, insurance and schemes by law eg EPF, SOCSO, Inland Revenue and other related bodies in connection with salary administrations) as well as by company's discretion incentive and KPI's, monthly payroll and its computation for all employees
  • Maintaining computerized information system in Human Resource and constantly updating them
  • Manages Employee Benefits: Group PA & Life Insurance Scheme, Medical and Bonus
  • Responsible for Compensation and Benefit (C&B) policies which includes salary benchmarking (Mercer) & Local area benchmarking, Benefits program, Position and Job role classification
  • Analyses different components of the remuneration scheme in the organization and prepares reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Builds a pay structure aligned with the strategic perspectives through defining internal pay alignment, Job analysis and job evaluations
  • Process paperwork and compensation related changes for all categories of staff including annual merit increases, promotions, special adjustments, short-term and long-term incentives
  • Creates and maintains salary range in the HRM system, including periodic evaluation according to levels and Job
  • Defines compensation competitiveness by practicing pay for performance through performance appraisals and lucrative benefit schemes

Job requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or Masters in HR related field
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years' relevant experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in Managerial role
  • Prerequisite to have experience in handling payroll software system, mainly Bossnet
  • Good knowledge of Compensation and Benefits management
  • Must possess strong project management skills and the ability to work at both a strategic and operational level
