Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading airline company. The IT Project Management Director will provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery. This role is on a hybrid work set-up and will be reporting to the CIO.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets to assess results of the different projects.
Address and resolve project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
Develop and direct project management operations and strategic planning to meet the organizational goals.
Provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.
Supervise and analyse project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects.
Work with Solutions Delivery team in the project deliveries and implementation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
At least 15 years work experience in Project Management level
Must be from aviation industry.
Minimum of 10 years of managing a high-level team
Minimum of 10 years of agile project management experience
Minimum of 10 years of project delivery and implementation experience
Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives
Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility
