Lab Management Support Technician (Semiconductor Characterization)

Initial 12 month contract + extensions (permanent position can be offered after 2 years)

Eindhoven, Netherlands (100% onsite)

Our client provides High Performance Mixed Signal solutions that leverage its leading RF, Analog, Power Management, Interface, Security, Digital Processing and Manufacturing expertise. These innovations are used in a wide range of automotive, identification, wireless infrastructure, lighting, mobile and consumer applications.

You will join the AMSIP department which is part of the CTO organization. Our department develops a wide range of re-usable analog mixed signal IP in the areas of data converters, timing references and power management circuits in all our client's processes.

As Lab Management Support Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the characterization labs of our client located in Eindhoven.

Job summary
o Manage three characterization labs used by multiple product line teams in Eindhoven
o Ensure introduction, maintenance, calibration and repair of test equipment used for characterization and early test development of NPIs
o Organize lab training and access control
o Plan equipment and lab space allocation
o Align test equipment needs in close collaboration with the departments and business lines
o Define OPEX and CAPEX for the labs, negotiate with suppliers and execute purchase orders accordingly
o Prepare and pass regular internal and external lab auditing (ISO and IATF)
o Organize supplier service contracts for the installed equipment where appropriate and manage the repair and spare part supply chain
o Coordinate relocation of lab equipment and maintenance of lab facilities

Job qualifications
o Bachelor or Master degree electrical engineering
o 2 years or more experience in semiconductor validation and test process, test equipment and managing equipment maintenance processes
o Insight into product characterization requirements versus equipment capabilities
o Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards, ESD and ESH requirements
o Excellent communication skills on all organizational levels
o Ability to deal well with internal customers
o Very well organized and fluent English (spoken and written)
