Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company with a core focus Ground Improvement. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5+ years' experience for the job of Logistics Officer. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- To find the best solutions on environmental aspect
- To follow the company HQSE policies and procedures and to follow local rules and legislation to remain compliant and to issue the necessary supporting documents when necessary
- To coordinate and communicate procurement and logistic related matters across the other Business Units in the region and with Procurement and Logistic Manager based in France
- To collaborate with the Director to identify system needs, process bottlenecks and to develop unique solutions to enable more timely, efficient, and accountable operations
- To perform investigation of all quality issues in coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, producing factual reports with evidence, corrective, effective actions to avoid any repeat of the same from happening
- To set up a solution for stock and equipment follow-up and to carry out inventory in the yard for equipment and material
- To work with, support local Yard Manager in ensuring all equipment is in good safe working condition prior to use across our jobsites
- To control and improve quality of supplied materials, products and services delivered
- To establish proper organization with efficient processes and quality system for internal and external orders and deliveries to follow-up the relevant activities and mitigate all potential risks
- To perform proactive meetings, inspections and audit of all relevant Suppliers and Subcontractors
- To support, be actively involved in all procurement and logistic matters during the tendering process and budgets estimates
- To develop local and international network of suppliers and subcontractors and to build strong relationships, ensure the best pricing on a long-term basis
- To perform international and local transportation and custom clearance process
- To ensure the most economical supplies and methods are used
- To ensure the timely delivery of purchased equipment, construction materials and services according to jobsites or yard requirement
- To negotiate prices, issue clear purchase orders and track the orders
Job Requirements:

- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Excellent knowledge of the local regulatory environment, including knowledge of customs clearance and importing processes
- Experience in budgets and contracts management
- Evidence of practical experience in procurement and logistics management, with knowledge of construction/civil engineering sector
