Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in construction industry. Our reputable client is currently searching for Market Research Analyst who is amenable to work onsite under a morning schedule. The office is located in Makati City.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collect data on customers, competitors, industry, market location and situation, consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
  • Identify Market and Sales trends, provide analysis and make recommendations for improvement of products and services
  • Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences
  • Research and compile data related to current product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand; analyzes results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it. Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls
  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
  • Identifies potential new products or markets through research.
  • Forecasts and tracks industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
  • Summarizes and analyzes data; makes recommendations related to research findings.
  • Reports findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings.
  • Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data are accurate and complete
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.


Data Gathering

  • Determine potential markets, product demand, and pricing of the projects.
  • Identify opportunities for work optimization and lead process improvements and automation in report and dashboard development and implementation using statistical tools.
  • Gather data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits using various methods, such as interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, market analysis surveys, public opinion polls, and literature reviews.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Conduct data queries, text mining, and consolidation of testing, manufacturing, and post-sales data for issue analysis
  • Assist Business Development for data gathering to help classify our market in line with reporting to management.
  • Ensure that all data is accurate and properly organized.


Data Analysis

  • Analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Sorting frequencies by age, gender or other measurements; calculate means and standard deviations; or measure correlations between sets of data.
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies and competitors related to existing projects.
  • Performs complex data analysis in support of business unit requests. Responsible for identification of baselines and process measures, management of report distribution, and recommendations based on identified best practice.
  • Develop data visualizations to support data exploration using modern data visualization techniques
  • Manage timely and accurate delivery of new trends and marketplace reports
  • Establish and implement standards and strategies for efficient data management and data quality review processes.


Data Evaluation and Recommendation

  • Evaluate data using statistical techniques and software.
  • Document and make transparent to data methodology and requirements of projects delivered.
  • Communicate analysis findings, summarize results and provide recommendations to varying levels of the organization.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.


Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience from a research company is a plus
  • Proven Market Research Analysis experience with statistical data analysis and interview
  • Search engines. web analytics and business research tools acumen
