Monroe Consulting PH is recruiting a Marketing Manager on behalf of a fashion retail company housing leading global brands. The role will directly report to the COO and will mainly be responsible for the overall strategic management of the brand's marketing initiatives. Role requires onsite work and will be based in San Pedro, Laguna.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Management

  • Crafts strategies for retail marketing, digital, advertising, communications, creative, and budget for the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.
  • Creates and monitors an advertisement on various platforms keeping the business vision aligned.
  • Coordinates and communicates effectively with principal on brand campaign initiatives.

Market Research

  • Conducts market research, analyzes market performance of existing and new products and monitors market growth, industry trends, customers' behavior and preference and competitors' demographics.
  • Monitors and updates the company's market intelligence database on continuing basis and provides strategic market information and demographics to top management as basis for decision making.


Marketing Communications Campaign

  • Spearheads and facilitates brainstorming sessions with the creative team and collectively generates and conceptualizes novel ideas and concepts necessary for the implementation and execution of an effective sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Develops concept strategy and plan by conducting studies and researches on market trends, customers' preference and other relevant market dynamics and by conducting thorough review and evaluation of the information and materials needed, preparation of cost estimates and mapping of schedules and resources required to complete the project.
  • Supervises the operational execution of all marketing communications campaigns. Coordinates changes, enhancements and additional inputs with the creative agency, presents final draft with internal stakeholders and submits final creative brief for approval by the COO.
  • Formulates and outlines clear and quantifiable performance goals for each marketing campaign activity and conducts post campaign evaluation to measure and determine the campaign's effectiveness from brand awareness up to sales generating activities.
  • Develops aggressive and innovative marketing strategy in exploring and tapping all potential sponsorship opportunities. Evaluates sponsorship offers and packages and sustains partnerships with current sponsors.
  • Implements cost efficient spending in line with approved budgets for each marketing campaign program.

Corporate Communications

  • Develops and composes official letters, correspondence, memoranda, communication plan and etc., for top management's approval and acts as the company's authorized person in officially disseminating and monitoring relevant information to customers, general public, government agencies, media, advertising agency partners, brokers and agents.
  • Develops, conceptualizes and implements thought leadership marketing strategy and works closely with the COO in positioning the company as a leader in its field through best-in-class content. Publishes articles, produces videos, conducts researches and other forms of original content on regular basis for present and potential customers, industry partners and stakeholders.

Compliance Issues:

  • Protects and safeguards the company's brand integrity at all times and ensures compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Conducts periodic review of regulatory requirements to ensure that all products and events are compliant with applicable government requirements and keeps the management abreast on new regulatory issues, evolving trends and amendments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Management or relevant business course
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant management experience (managerial level); and excellent track record in developing brand management strategy in the sectors of retail/fashion apparel & related industries
  • Strong management competencies in the areas of executive and leadership development, managerial coaching and mentoring and situational assessment skills
  • Broad functional experience in the areas of strategic planning, business development, market research and planning
  • Excellent analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational model
  • An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills
