Marketing Manager - Mining (based in Jakarta)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company with a core focus on mining. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10-15 years' experience mining for the job of Marketing Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report to GM Business Development
  • Planning and control of marketing strategy
  • Developed a new marketing program in mining business
  • Monitor and take action on market research and competitor analysis in mining market
  • Prepare the groundwork/ start-up preparation, including market survey (such as listing down potential clients), involved in the business development and operation, building up the marketing strategy, and getting details ready for initial business development activities
  • Handle digitalization and marketing campaign activities including to cover another sector of sales and operation in mining business as part of extended consumer services (serving the targeted market)

Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related major from reputable university
· 10-15 years' experience field in marketing experience and demonstrated levels of performance across varied situations
· Deep knowledge on coal mining market in Indonesia
· Strong networking and market knowledge in coal mining market analysis
· Strong exposure in market research and competitor analysis
· Skill on overall general management with a focus on marketing strategy
· Possess leadership to head the team
· Strong ability in digitalization process and analytical data
· Target oriented and aggressive business development characteristic.
· Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
