Merchandiser Manager (B2B) Hardware & Appliances - Building & Construction

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Building & Construction company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 - 8 years of experience managing a hardware and home appliances or Building Materials (multinational company) for the job of Merchandiser Manager (B2B. The job is based in Jakarta.

Job Summary:

  1. Responsible to manage Home Appliances and Home Improvement Category; from digital display, pricing & exposure initiatives, relationships with key vendors, and product range management.
  2. Becoming the growth initiator for the categories, who understand consumer needs and see opportunities to apply the best strategy for increasing category sales and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate partnership, build, and foster relationship with key vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders for sales growth optimisations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and optimise category visibilities.
  • Reporting category performance including KPIs, providing data-driven insight, and conducting deep dives needed to better understand shopping behaviours and determining forward strategies.


Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in merchandising or on a similar role or field of minimum 2 years. (in Italics optional, preferences not from fresh grads, has managed a team or admin before.)
  • Hands-on experience of an e-Commerce platform is a plus.
  • Excellent ability to analyse data and propose commercial objectives.
  • An understanding of general Home&Living and Appliances business models, sales, and marketing.
  • An understanding of e-Commerce UX, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment
