Merchandiser Manager (B2B) Hardware & Appliances - Building & Construction
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Building & Construction company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 - 8 years of experience managing a hardware and home appliances or Building Materials (multinational company) for the job of Merchandiser Manager (B2B. The job is based in Jakarta.
Job Summary:
- Responsible to manage Home Appliances and Home Improvement Category; from digital display, pricing & exposure initiatives, relationships with key vendors, and product range management.
- Becoming the growth initiator for the categories, who understand consumer needs and see opportunities to apply the best strategy for increasing category sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate partnership, build, and foster relationship with key vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders for sales growth optimisations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and optimise category visibilities.
- Reporting category performance including KPIs, providing data-driven insight, and conducting deep dives needed to better understand shopping behaviours and determining forward strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in merchandising or on a similar role or field of minimum 2 years. (in Italics optional, preferences not from fresh grads, has managed a team or admin before.)
- Hands-on experience of an e-Commerce platform is a plus.
- Excellent ability to analyse data and propose commercial objectives.
- An understanding of general Home&Living and Appliances business models, sales, and marketing.
- An understanding of e-Commerce UX, content and development projects, and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment
