Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an established FMCG distribution company. Our respected client is seeking a National Distribution Manager who will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategies and policies. Also responsible for delivering business results through effective management of the distributor organization (includes systems and direct reports) and effective collaboration with other business units and/or department heads. The position will report to the Assoc. Sales Director and will manage 4 direct reports (Regional Distribution Managers for GMA, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao). The job is based in Pasig City from Mondays to Saturdays.
Key job responsibilities include:
* Develops and implements strategies to achieve defined departmental goals and objectives.
* Sets and communicates national distributor business directions, objectives, goals and strategies as aligned with the Sales Director/Associate Sales Director, and the principal.
* Takes lead in the development of a professional and productive work force, manpower requirement planning, and performance evaluation
* Ensures the Direct Reports 1) Perform their duties and responsibilities, 2) Comply with Company's Code of Conduct and Discipline and Financial Expense Policy, 3) Live the Company's Core Values
* Establishes and organizes the department's systems and resources for work efficiency and for continual Improvement (note: the distributor operation is part of the department's scope )
* Acts as the RDM for the area in the absence or termination of a regional head
* Monitors the execution of activities to ensure the achievement of the objectives
* Conducts business reviews with the distributors
* Generates Distributor Sales Forecast and Budget
* Ensures OE compliance, Sales Force Automation (SFA) and other sales processes
Key job qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* College graduate of a four-year course preferably business related
* 8-10 years of relevant work experience in FMCG particularly general trade accounts/channels
* SME in handling snacks category
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Able to work with a diverse team, agile
* Excellent leadership skills in result, thought and people
* Exemplifies GRIT and agility in managing and building a successful team
* Strategic Decision Making, Leading thru Vision and Values
* Strong Planning, Organizing, Presentation skills, Initiating Action and Interaction with internal and external partners
* Amenable to work Mondays to Saturdays in Pasig City
