Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational pharmaceutical company. Our respected client is seeking a National Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of 39 District Managers and Professional Sales Representatives. The role will report to the General Manager. Work setup onsite and field.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue and market share targets at a national level.

  • Leading and managing a team of sales professionals, including district managers, sales representatives, and support staff.

  • Setting clear and measurable sales targets, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the national sales team.

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, and using this information to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

  • Creating and managing the sales budget, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring cost-efficiency while maximizing sales results.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Generating accurate sales forecasts, monitoring sales pipelines, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

  • Providing training, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

  • Regularly evaluating the performance of the national sales team against set targets and KPIs, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

  • Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with overall company goals.

  • Generating and presenting sales reports and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensuring that the national sales team adheres to all company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Depending on the industry, National Sales Managers may need to travel extensively to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit regional sales teams.

Key job qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working in a multinational generics company/ experience handling generics brands

  • Strong experience in dealing with dispensing doctors, strong connection with Mercury Drugstores, strong people management skill

  • Strong leadership skill and experienced in managing diversity

  • Excellent interpersonal skill, problem solving and creative solution generation skill

  • Open to work onsite and field
