Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the manufacturing of photocopier or printing industry. Our respected client is seeking an executive with at least (5-10) years experience in packaging industry is needed for the position of Operations & Business Development Manager. The job is based in Calamba City, Philippines

Job Summary:

The Operations and Business Development Manager is responsible for the site operations and business development. Will drive new business development, business operation improvement with full P&L responsibility and overseeing site operations of both company Packaging Businesses. Ensuring the successful delivering of sustained rapid growth, meeting shareholders and customers expectations. Hunt for new business, identify the best business development strategies to penetrate the new market and growing existing core business.

Key job responsibilities include:

* Accountable for everything from typical managerial tasks such as sales maximization, ensure profitability and execute strategies to build, lead and motivate a team of about 30 employees. Transform the business unit into profit center.
* Accountable for entire site management and sales growth for the region and adhere to company direction in creating new business opportunity, new segment, new industry, new market and winning big projects.
* Accountability for overseeing individual direct report activity including Production, Quality, Customer Services, Design Engineer and Sales team located in Laguna.
* Identify customer needs and drive new business opportunities in line with global business strategy, new portfolio with new solutions. (eg. fiber flute, light wood, green materials).
* Growing the existing core thermoforming business, partnering with global sales team to create a strategic plan to quickly develop and deliver sales.
* Able to take broader view/bigger picture, deep thinking on critical matters with pre-emptive approach in attacking new account and new segment, with clear direction + business strategy + execution plan.
* Able to bring in new clients and foster business relationships to increase sales revenue.
* Able to work independently in developing strategies and hands-on in implementation.
* Lead the local ERP implementation for entire business in Laguna.
* Lead the CRM pipe implementation for the entire business development department.
* Reduce the debtor's ageing to below 10 days for the entire business development department.
* Team player who thrives on deadlines-driven projects and delivers under pressure.
* Any other tasks assigned by GM.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree graduate
* Proven experience with business development activities.
* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
* Possess strong ability in both hunting and selling skills.
* Possess strong leadership skills and strategic mindset.
* Possess strong ability in planning and organisational skills.
* Possess strong communications and presentation skills.
* Extensive background in packaging (corrugated, foam, plastics thermoforming, wooden crate).
* Ability to read, analyse and interpret complex business-related documents.
* Well-versed with proven ability with MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.
* Bi-Lingual capabilities desirable (English/Other)
