Operations Director


Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a premiere resort and casino. Our respective client is looking for an Operations Director who will manage the daily operations of the hotel resort. This role requires onsite reporting from Mondays-Fridays and will be reporting to the President.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Implement the right processes and practices across the organization
  • Formulate strategy, improve performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance
  • Mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff
  • Find ways to increase quality of customer service
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • At least 8 years work experience as Operations Manager/Director
  • Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Eagerness to communicate outside of working hours on urgent and priority issues
  • Willingness to support the needs of other departments if necessary
  • Ability to work in a close-knit team setting
