Process Development Engineer (Electrochemical)

Initial 1 year freelance contract + extensions

The day-to-day work is practical in nature and includes development, optimization, and upscaling of electrochemical lab processes for the fabrication of nanostructured materials.

The assignment

• Optimization of electrodeposition processes on lab-scale
• Upscaling of electrochemical processes from lab-scale to 200mm
• Definition of protocols for electrochemical bath make-up
• Process control (electrochemical baths and products)

Required knowledge and skills

• PhD degree in science/engineering or a Master's degree with relevant experience
• Experience in a (electro-)chemical lab (specifically with electrodeposition)
• Experience with chemical analysis methods (titration, spectrophotometry, ...)
