Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of Indonesia's top logistics company looking for a Procurement Manager, preferably from a logistics/construction company, to build the basic procurement foundation of the whole organization. The job is based in Cawang but applies hybrid working conditions. This position will report directly to the Chief of People, GA, and Project and lead 3 officers, with responsibilities and qualifications as follows:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the procurement system, foundation, and whole cycle from sourcing to purchasing concept.
  • Manage the whole company's supply of products and services and procurement needs
  • Initiate and strategize the company's cost-effective deals to cut expenses for a better cash flow
  • Negotiates with different stakeholders to achieve the best number for the efficient flow of goods and services
  • Evaluate all operations from spending, timeline, and the quality of products for maximum services
  • Identifies risk management procedures to lessen shortages
  • Working closely with all legal departments to ensure all contracts and terms benefit all parties.
  • Diminishes all documentation errors for better improvement

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-8 years working experience, preferably from logistics/construction companies, as a Procurement Manager
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and supply chain systems
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic alliances and other high-level contractual relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills to be able to get the best and cost-cutting agreement
  • Has knowledge and experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts
  • Demonstrated track record of performance in managing complex, cross-functional activities
  • Ability to work in agile in a startup-fast-paced environment
