Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Healthcare Division is partnered with a multinational healthtech company. As the business is expanding, we are looking for a Sales Manager to manage medical representatives and take charge of the key projects with our clients. This opportunity is to be based in Selangor, Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of key projects within the organization, ensuring their successful planning, execution, and completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and establish project timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress to achieve project objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time.
- Regularly communicate project status, updates, and results to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
- Lead and guide Medical Representatives to achieve sales objectives and operational excellence.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Medical Representatives to ensure a high performing team.
- Develop strategies to maximize the performance of Medical Representatives, including setting KPIs, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing improvement plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Medical Representatives activities with overall sales and marketing strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Medical Representatives, enhancing the team's skills and knowledge.
- Provide strategic input and support in sales-related initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align Medical Representatives' efforts with overall business objectives and support sales activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of key project milestones.
- Foster a collaborative and result-oriented work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 7 to 12 years, with a preference for prior experience in managing Medical Representatives or related roles in the healthcare industry.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving sales and project objectives.
- Sound understanding of sales processes, strategies, and customer engagement in the healthcare sector.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement improvement plans.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
