Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a medical education and knowledge sharing online platform. Our respected client is currently seeking for a Regional Contract & Legal Management Director. This well-established company is based in Taguig, Philippines and currently offers a hybrid or WFH set up.

Job Summary
The Regional Contract and Legal Management Director is responsible for supervising and administering all legal matters pertaining to our contracts and agreements within our regional operations. The ideal candidate will take charge of coordinating every facet, guaranteeing compliance, mitigating risks, and facilitating seamless contract negotiations to align with the company's growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise the legal department, providing guidance and strategic direction on contract and legal matters across the region.

  • Develop, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership contracts, and client agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.

  • Identify potential legal risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's interests.

  • Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations across regions of operation and ensure the company's adherence to legal requirements.

  • Mentor, train, and manage a team of legal professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, finance, and HR to align legal strategies with business goals.

  • Manage legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when necessary, representing the company's interests effectively.


Job Requirements


  • 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a regional or multinational setting within the healthcare and/or technology industry

  • Excellent command over English spoken and written.

  • Problem solver, Agile and Smart / Logical Thinker.

  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and manage project and client deliverables with a team and independently.

  • Strong Negotiator and able to work with different departments.

  • Must be proactive and a self-starter

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong understanding of regional legal frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in legal software and tools for contract management
