Monroe Consulting Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a Leading Multinational Consumer Goods Company. Our esteemed client is searching for a Head of Sales General Trade; this position will be based in Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Spearheaded the development and execution of a sales strategy aimed at achieving sales targets while considering financial considerations.
  • Ensure the implementation of sales processes and proactively respond to changing market trends.
  • Take the lead in forecasting, ensuring accuracy and utilizing relevant information to make informed decisions.
  • Assess the performance of third-party distributors and evaluate their potential as company partners.
  • Evaluate, assess, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement regarding team member performance based on relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Sales, supported by a professional graduate or post-graduate qualification.
  • Previous experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is desirable.
  • A track record of 3-5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably reporting to the Country Head/Managing Director or an equivalent position within the organization.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • Demonstrated success as a sales professional with comprehensive experience in General Trade (GT) channels.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong command of numerical data.
  • In-depth knowledge of East Indonesia and a solid understanding of territory management, distributor management, and trade marketing.
