Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company that is in the chemical manufacturing industry, catering functional chemicals in various industries including electronics and semiconductor. They are seeking for a sales/ business development/ marketing personnel, with at least (2) years of related experience, for the position of Sales & Marketing Executive. The job will be based in Penang.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Provide excellent service to existing account to generate revenue for the company.
  • Assist direct line manager to achieve sales target and company goals.
  • Meet regional sales objectives by forecasting requirement.
  • Track monthly sales objectives with new and existing project.
  • Prepare monthly sales report with sales data and projects update to HQ.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies on best routes to achieve business development.
  • Manage the sales operation of the firm to accomplish business strategy goals.
  • Identify new opportunities, address customer issues, queries, and requirements.
  • Participate in conferences, group meetings, and exhibitions to deliver presentations on customer sites.
  • Monitor delivery and payment status (credit control), stock control, and shipping arrangement for oversea clients.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time-to-time basis.

Key Job requirements include:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience Account Management/Sales preferably in Electronics/Components or related.
  • Diploma / Degree holder in business management / Marketing.
  • Positive attitude of being solution-oriented by identifying the root cause of challenges, defining solutions, and supporting others towards achieving a solution.
  • Strong command in English both in written and oral to liaise effectively with English-speaking stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, responsible, and able to communicate well.
  • Comfortable to travel within Penang/Ipoh/Kedah and to Kuala Lumpur at least once a month.
