Sales Director (Automotive)


Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf an international company specialized in open mobility solutions. The company is based in Makati and the role is to be assigned on a hybrid set-up.

Key job responsibilities include:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team in achieving and surpassing revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. As the Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building and maintaining key customer relationships, and driving the overall success of our sales department.

1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales objectives.
    • Provide strategic direction to the sales team, aligning sales goals with overall business objectives.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  1. Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes achievement and professional development.
  2. Sales Planning and Execution:
    • Develop annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement effective sales processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and partners.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure their satisfaction.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
    • Provide valuable market insights and feedback to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management.
    • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
