Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a reputable national pharmaceutical company. Our client is seeking a Sales Manager that will be responsible for managing field sales force for third party and other distribution channels and provide mentoring for sales. This position operates on the field within the National Capital Region and directly reports to the Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

Key job responsibilities

  • Managing field sales force for third party and key accounts from the National Capital Region
  • Handle other distribution channels
  • Coordinate with the Research & Development team to navigate the industry market and expand the number of molecules being sold
  • Provide mentoring sales for the company's partnerships
  • Monitoring competitor activities in the industry by reading industry publications and attending industry events
  • Formulates sales initiated strategies and activities to augment sales productivity.
  • Conduct evaluation of sales representatives
  • Able to provide team training and development

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • With at least 2 years of experience as District or Territory Manager assigned to a large area
  • Good leadership and people management skills
  • Works well with a team and has high integrity for the job
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, time management, customer relationship management, and willingness to travel to assigned areas
  • Strong background in the pharmaceutical sales industry, open to local pharmaceutical companies
  • Goal oriented and keen in developing market opportunities
  • Confident in dealing with Company Executives
  • Possesses excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Willing to work on the field within the National Capital Region and travel twice a year to other locations (Cebu or Davao)
