Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the leading multinational fast moving consumer goods companies for a Sales Manager role. The role will drive strategy and support the business growth. S/he will be an individual contributor maintaining modern trade and growing general trade accounts, and will report to the Sales Director based in the region.

Key job responsibilities include:

* Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and bolstering market share in the Philippines.
* Cultivate and strengthen relationships with distributors and key clients, fostering robust business partnerships.
* Maintain consistent communication with corporate headquarters, offering feedback on work processes and results, and periodically travel to report on progress.
* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and potential clients to expand the company's footprint in the market.
* Collaborate with the marketing team at corporate headquarters to plan and execute promotional activities, elevating product awareness and driving sales.
* Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to develop proactive business plans.
* Monitor and assess sales performance through data analysis, reporting, and regular team evaluations.
* Engage in negotiations with distributors, finalizing contracts with terms that benefit both parties.
* Stay abreast of industry developments and integrate market insights into the overarching sales strategy.

Key job qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree
* At least 5 years of FMCG sales experience, being able to develop new market independently
* Exhibit outstanding communication and sales proficiencies
* Showcase robust online research capabilities, adeptness in expanding new customer channels, and the capacity to independently acquire new clients
* Demonstrate a sharp market sense, precise judgment of the target market, understanding of the preferences of the target consumer base, and the ability to analyze competitors for developing effective sales strategies
* Display awareness in new product development, suggesting suitable products to meet customer demands
* Preference for experience in collaborating with FMCG branded distributors and major retailers
* Possess comprehensive negotiation skills and a track record of conducting independent business with customers
* Exhibit an optimistic and positive demeanor, exceptional resistance to pressure, and an indomitable spirit in the face of setbacks
* Ability to work remotely with autonomy
