Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a chemical trading company based in Thailand. Our respected client is seeking a professional with over 8 years' experience in B2B sales and business development targeting F&B manufacturers. This job is based in the central of Bangkok Thailand.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing sales volume and market share of food ingredient and food additive unit. The ideal candidate will be utilizing all methods of business development and sales to expand the target customers base as well as increase sales volume in the F&B manufacturing industry; this includes sales planning and active relationship management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Seek and establish potential and customers in order to create a new pipeline and expand customer networks
  • Day to day management of the sales team ensuring they are on track for achieving KPI's.
  • Plan and implement the strategy and sales budget for local customers to achieve the yearly budgeted results in terms of volume, price, and margin
  • Setting sales and marketing KPI's to manage activity within the team.
  • Working with sales executives on approaches to building business.
  • Training the sales team on sales techniques and giving advice.
  • Support the development of the sales plan by collecting market intelligence and indicating market trends
  • Manage and maintain the CRM and Sales opportunity list
  • Researching potential target industries and customers.
  • Arranging for the company to attend relevant industry events and conferences.
  • Reporting on activities towards targets to the company directors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related filed.
  • Proven track record in sales & marketing of food ingredients/additives or related products, with comprehensive industry knowledge.
  • Excellent motivational and leadership skills to inspire performance.
  • Relevant industry experience ideally from a competitor.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, (e.g. report, email correspondence) and computer literacy in MS-Office programs (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed
