Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on industrial products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in industrial products company for the job of Sales Manager SEA. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Direct report to the Regional Sales Head Asia
  • Ensure the effective implementation of sales strategy, company policies & procedures and introduce proposals for their amelioration, in order to guarantee the sound operation of the sales office and the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of the political, economic and cultural particularities affecting the countries of accountability and keep up to date with competitors' activity, so as to support business development.
  • Ensure that new opportunities are fully investigated and proper propositions for sales development in the region of operations are made, in order to expand current business relationships and develop new clientele.
  • Design and after approval implement the annual budget plan, in terms of sales turnover, profitability & other KPIs, so as to contribute the agreed profits to the group.
  • Review on a monthly basis financial results, explain the reasons for any deviations & take corrective actions, in order to be aligned with the agreed budget.
  • Ensure proper selection, training, motivation as well as guidance & coaching to own team, in order to meet agreed sales targets.
  • Create an environment that promotes the values the company represent & allow human resources to perform & develop their skills and competencies.
  • To identify, evaluate and prioritization of aspects - impacts and to comply with applicable legal & other requirements in the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; MBA in Business or Management will be an advantage;
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience especially in the Industrial Products industry
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish strong internal and external working relationships.
